HUFY Annual Pitch Day Event

HUFY hosts annual startup pitch days where Yale entrepreneurs present their ambitious ideas in front of a panel of judges which consist of industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and investors. Startups receive the opportunity to potentially qualify for funding and exposure to the network of panelists. Additionally, startups will have the chance to be featured in the diligence report we provide to our network of VCs and alumni.

Educational Seminars

Educational seminars will be conducted for students to get the chance to learn more about venture capital. HUFY will host various seminars that dive into key topics such as fund structures, the creation of term sheets, and the process of due diligence. Our goal is to provide students with the tools they need to both understand VC and prepare for interviews.

VCIC

Venture Capital Investment Competition

HUFY plans to participate in the annual Venture Capital Investment Competition (VCIC), an interactive event in which schools from across the country compete in an interactive simulation of the VC process. Teams of five members play the role of analysts in a VC firm and assess startups as potential investment opportunities. The performance and analysis of teams are then evaluated by judges.
