Supporting Prominent Ventures at Yale
The Hillhouse Undergraduate Fund at Yale (HUFY) is a student-run venture capital organization aimed at furthering the interest and education of Yale undergraduates in the venture capital industry. By exposing members to interactions between the entrepreneurial ecosystem at Yale and professionals within the venture capital space, students are able to gain invaluable experiences in the industry. The HUFY organization hosts and co-sponsors a range of venture capital and entrepreneurial activities at Yale.
Being comprised entirely of students at Yale, HUFY members have a comprehensive understanding of Yale’s startup ecosystem. By leveraging our network of alumni and professionals, we connect Yale startups with investors, mentors, and resources that help founders turn their visions into reality.
Democratizing access to opportunity within venture capital at Yale is at the forefront of HUFY’s mission. We believe that the venture capital industry needs more diversity of race, gender, and perspective. Because of this, we place a high premium on supporting founders and recruiting talent from historically underrepresented communities.
